The Learning Center (TLC)

The Learning Center (TLC), the computer lab of CSSE, offers FREE internet access for the community of San Diego. Designed to meet the educational needs of individuals of all ages and backgrounds, programs are designed to motivate students to realize their academic potential in order to improve their lives, the lives of their families, and the community at large. The unifying theme in all programs is the use of technology as a tool of learning. Students have daily access to state-of-the-art technology, enabling them to acquire essential skills while becoming proficient users of the technological tools of the 21st century. Classes are generally offered tuition-free on a first-come, first-served basis.

Basic Computing - Courses offered in computer training for basic program use. Click here for a printable registration form.

Classes are currently accepting registration. The classes are designed to help teach our community members basic computer skills. The classes focus of commonly used programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, etc. CSSE classes are designed to educate students with the purpose of improving computer skills needed in today's work force and life.
